1). NABILA

Of what gain will it be to list the most beautiful artists in Cameroon without making mention of Fatima Rodriguez popularly known as Nabila?

Nabila was born on the 8 of July 1996 in Bamenda, Northwest Region of Cameroon to a Hispano-Moroccan father and a Cameroonian mother. Her passion for singing started as early as the age of 8 when she convinced her parents to take part in shows and competitions.

As a teenager, though aspiring to be a musician, she started as a model. She appeared in various advertisements as well as music videos.

Nabila drew inspiration from artists like Rihanna, Tiwa savage, Tinashe, Jhene Aiko, and in the year 2014, she released her first single  “Turn up” produced by Edi le’drae.

Nabila became prominent to the public due to her cover of the music Sawa romance by Locko. As a result, REGN RECORDS Label signed her.

Some of her singles include Ça Ira (2017), Prend Ma Main (2017), Ça Va Aller (2018), Tromper avec Tzy Panchak (2018), Dis Moi (2020), Amour et Espoir avec Darina Victry (2020),

2). CHARLOTTE DIPANDA

The second most beautiful female artist in Cameroon on the list is Charlotte Dipanda. Many can testify that charlotte is ageless. Born in the city of Yaounde on July 18, 1985, Charlotte Dipanda is an Afropop singer and a diva when it comes to singing.

In addition to her native Bakaka, the singer/songwriter’s take on acoustic sounds incorporates melodic Afro-pop, vocal jazz, and a creative combination of traditional music with words in Douala or French. She sings in French, her native language Bakaka, and in Douala.

She started her career as a studio and stage chorister. Due to her performance at open-mike evenings in a Yaounde club, Charlotte Dipanda was discovered by Lokua Kanza who made her on guitarist Jeannot Hens’ album “Ndando,” released in 2002.

She has performed as a backing vocalist for Manu Dibango, Axelle Red, Rokia Traoré, and Congolese musician Papa Wemba. She has released 5 albums.

3). LADY PONCE

How would I talk about the most beautiful female artists and leave out this ageless breathtaking beautiful queen Adele Ruffine Ngono known on stage as Lady Ponce? She is also known as "La Reine de Bikutsi" meaning the Queen of Bikutsi.

The mother of three was born on July 24, 1983, in Mbalmayo, Cameroon. She is not only known for her music but also for her energetic dancing steps. Her first album titled “Le ventre et le bas-ventre’ was released in 2007 and consisted of 6 songs.

Thanks to this album, she won the Canal 2'Or's Best Voice and Musical Revelation awards for that year. Due to the aforementioned success, Ngono produced three other albums by Jean Pierre Saah namely: Confession in 2009, La Loi du talion in 2011, and Bombe atomique in 2012, containing ten, twelve, and twelve tracks respectively. The award-winning artist has 6 albums and 6 singles.

4). DAPHNE NJIE

Another female beauty queen artist in Cameroon is Daphne Njie Efundem born in Buea, Southwest Region of Cameroon on September 20, 1989.

The multi-award-winning urban pop singer and performer driven by her experiences and culture gave birth to a musical style that merges Pop, Afro-pop music, Afrobeat, reggae, makossa, Hip Hop, and urban music.

Daphne started her professional music career with the song “Rastafari" and got famous via the song Calée. If you are single, at her glance you might be tempted to ask if she is single. So sorry to be the one to share this with you. Daphne is happily married to a US-based Cameroonian.

In terms of Education, she read Psychology and Law at the University of Buea. As role models, Daphne got inspiration from Cece Winnas, Mary Mary, and Frank Edwards, as well as secular musicians like Bebe Manga, Tiwa Savage, and Rihanna.

Melanie Ngoga popularly known as Mimie is a Cameroonian artist and actress. She was born on January 11, 1991, in Douala, the littoral Region of Cameroon. The mother of one (Daughter) started singing at the age of nine. Mimie attended the University of Douala where she was awarded a master’s in Business communication and marketing.

Mimie began her professional career with a first single titled “Warriors” in 2014 but became famous to the public in 2016 following the release of the song titled "Dance Fi You"

Mimie now has about ten singles and numerous collaborations with Cameroonian and international artists such as Shan'L, Dj Zoumanto, Ko-C, and Locko.

Concerning her acting career, her first appearance was in 2008 in the  Paradis series filmed in Buea and Limbe where she played the role of a cabaret singer.

She has been commanding the airwaves with her 2021 hit song “Faya” featuring Locko.

6). KAMENI

The seventh topmost beautiful female artist in Cameroon in the list is Ebude Kate Kameni known on stage as Kameni or Boss Lady. The Afro-pop singer signed to Mr. Leo’s Lionn Production label was born on March 9, 1993, in Bafang, Western Cameroon, on March 9, 1993, to a merchant mother and a farmer/musician father.

Her role model when it comes to music is her dad. Kameni attended the Higher Institute of Management Studies (HIMS) in Buea, where she bagged a degree in Marketing.

Kameni’s debut solo song “Boss” was released on April 16, 2019, through Lionn Productions. On August 21, she released her second official audio single, ‘’Nayo Nayo,” which was a hit as it draws inspiration from our everyday life situations.

Following the release of her 6-track EP project ‘’Love and Hustle’’ released in 2020 and her latest single ‘’Bolo’’ in May 2021, Kameni has no time become a household name in Cameroon making waves both national and international.

 7). SANDRINE NNANGA

Sandrine Nnanga hails from the South of Cameroon. The musicians of the “Macase group” discovered her during her participation in a school music competition.

She became a member of the group in 2011, thus starting her musical career first as the group’s backing vocalist, and then became one of the vocal leads. Sandrine sings in her traditional language "Fong", French and English.

She first turned to accounting and business management, from where she obtained her Higher Technician Certificate, and then in order to enhance her cultural field, she continued in marketing and operational management, from where she obtained a Professional License.

8). BLANCHE BAILLY

Tatah Larinatte Bailly professionally known as Blanche Bailly or Queen Mimba is a Cameroonian Afro-pop singer, songwriter, and actress. She was brought forth to earth on August 8, 1995, in Kumba, Southwest Region of Cameroon.

 Her debut official single ‘Kam we stay’ released in August 2016 and produced by Philbillbeatz saw her welcome into the music scene and since then, it has been hit after hit for the singer today celebrated as one of Africa's best.

In 2017, she released another single titled ‘Mimbayeur’ featuring Minks. She later dropped more hits like; ‘Dinguo, Bonbon, ‘Ndolo’ and ‘Ton pied, mon pied’ and ‘Argent’.

She was nominated for Best Female Central African Artist at the AFRIMA, Best Urban and Revelation of the year at Canal D’or, and winning Revelation of the year at Balafon Music Awards in 2016.

 9). COCO ARGENTÉE

Corine Céline Ntyame known on stage as Coco Argentée was born on August 13, 1982, in Mbandjock, Centre Cameroon. The award-winning beauty queen is a mother of two residents in Belgium. Coco Argentée obtained a bachelor’s degree in 2004.

She began her solo career in 2010 with the release of her first album called Nostalgie consisting of eight tracks. The album is a combination of the musical genres of Bikutsi and Zouk. Her most renowned album track is Dans la tanière, a tribute to the city of Ndjamena where she began her career and had considerable success in both Cameroon and N'Djamena.

The album won awards, including Musical Revelation of the Year for 2012 at Canal 2'Or and Best Bikutsi of 2013 at Festi-Bikutsi.

In 2020, she featured on Ko-c’s hit song “Caléçon”, which topped the music charts in Cameroon and other central African countries. As if it is not enough she went forth to release another hit in 2021 titled “Je me sens”.

10). MANI BELLA

The list of the most beautiful female artists would not be complete without mentioning Véronique Mani Bella professionally known as Mani Bella.

She was born on October 29, 1987, in Yaoundé into a family of musicians. Therefore, we can say it is a family thing. Her father Mani Léon dit Pilatus is a bassist and her grandfather Apollinaire Owona better known as Cherami is a saxophonist.

Her first album was released in 2010 titled “Pousse la vie”. The mother of three is a resident of Paris, France and she performs Bikutsi (A traditional kind of Cameroonian art).

Because of Pousse la vie album, she was awarded Best Female Artist of the Year at Festi-Bikutsi and Best Female Revelation of the Year 2011 at Mvet d’Or. She became more popular due to her hit song “Face à face,” and “Pala Pala,”

11). EWUBE

Ndip Jennifer Ewube on stage known as Ewube was born on May 31, 1994. She hails from Mamfe in the Southwest Region of Cameroon. Ewube is an Afro pop, Dancehall and Afrobeatz performer.

Ewube is known as “African Rihanna” due to the ease with which she sings and queen of Kamer hip-hop.

She has always had a strong passion for music and looks up to Beyoncé, Rihanna, and other industry icons. Ewube holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Buea in Cameroon.
