Established in
the year 2008, CAE Oxford Aviation Academy is located in monthe paul, 359, Rue,
Douala and Joseph Barla and Jean-Yves Kotto are the founding fathers. Sabena
Flight Academy Africa is owned by Cameroonians who work in partnership with the
old Belgian school Sabena Flight Academy created in 1953.
The old Belgian
school Sabena Flight Academy is now called CAE Oxford Aviation Academy
Brussels, owned by Canadian group CAE, the world's leading provider of flight
simulation solutions.
The institution
was the first civil aviation university in Cameroon. The institute provides
training for airline pilots, Flight attendants and flight dispatchers. The institution

This training is
aimed at preparing the ab initio student for the theoretical knowledge required for the
Airline Transport Pilot license and how to operate a multi-engine aircraft in IFR as a professional
pilot for an airline.
1. Theoretical training
- It is officially approved by Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority
- Based on the 14 subjects of the ATPL program
- Basic flight course on FNPT
2. Flight training
Total of 220-240 flight hours on:
- Diamond DA 40 Glass Cockpit aircraft
- Diamond DA 42 Glass Cockpit aircraft
- DA 42 FNPT II
3. MCC ( optional)
- 28 hours of theoretical training
- 20 hours of flight on A320/ B 737 NG simulator

B. MODULAR THEORETICAL ATPL (A) COURSE
The training
objective is to upgrade holders of the Commercial Pilot License to the
theoretical knowledge level required for the ATPL ( A) license.

Safety and Security training programs. CCAA aims to clean up the field of civil

Its head office is located at Nsimalen
